MANILA, Philippines — A fire broke out early Monday morning at a cold storage facility in Fernando Poe Jr. Avenue, Brgy. Del Monte, Quezon City, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported.
The facility involved has been identified by the BFP as the Glacier North Refrigeration Storage.

According to Fire Officer Teresa May Pinawin, the situation was quickly raised to the third alarm so that additional fire trucks could be deployed to the site.
Article continues after this advertisement“Minsan po kasi, nagtataas ng alarma lalo na kung sa tingin nila hindi pa sya maaapula ng second alarm,” Pinawin told INQUIRER.net in a Viber message.
